The country is in 2nd place in the world ranking for meat exports to China.
In these first three months (January-March inclusive) of 2022, the USA exported a total of 219.889.319 kg with a value of USD 865.525.885.
The most exported categories were: Offal (bovine, pork, goat and sheep), poultry, veal and pork.
USA poultry meat export data to China
Regarding the first product,a total of 92.879.063 kg have been exported for a value of 275.677.969 USD.
These values represent a growth rate of +5% from January to March, as 32.457.102 kg were exported in the first month and 33.928.839 kg in the third month, with a difference of +1.471.737 kg.
Over the total value of poultry exports in March, the price per kg was of 2,74 USD/kg.
USA Offal export data to China
If we talk about offal, 59.974.918 kg were exported for a value of USD 170.059.605, a decrease of -23% in the January-March variation. In the third month, -4.715.014 kg were exported.
Regarding the price per kg of offal, it was 5,64 USD in March.
USA veal export data to China
Veal, as the third product, was exported with a value of USD 291.390.409 and a total of 31.980.587 kg. In this case, there was a decrease of -1% in exports. Exports were -130.190 kg in March compared to January. Although there was a significant increase in February. A total of +2.040.104 kg were exported compared to the first month. That is, it was a 20% increase from February to March.
Veal´s price per kg in March, the average price was 2,86 USD/kg.
USA pork export data to China
The fourth most exported product was pork. It exported 30.279.464 kg with a value of USD 51.721.785. The growth rate from January to March decreased by -37%.
In January 8.940.092 kg were exported and in March 5.655.953 kg. There was a difference of -3.284.139 kg.
However, there was a growth of +75% from January to February. In the second month, 15.683.419 kg were exported.
The price per kg of pork in the third month was 5.64 USD/kg.
USA meat exports to China by province
Besides that, we have the total imports per Chinese province. A total of 10 provinces imported more than 1,000,000 kg.

As a conclusion to the situation in USA, we note that the country has decreased its exports to China by -9% in the first quarter. It has exported a total of -6.796.982 kg between January and March. The drop in U.S. exports was far greater than the decline in France.
